The town is a great base to explore the surrounding attractions of Argyll Forest Park, which includes the mystical Puck’s Glen, and nearby Benmore Botanic Garden.
As well as being reachable by road, there are ferries connecting Dunoon to Gourock in Renfrewshire, making Dunoon easily reachable from Central Scotland.
