The restaurant
Our great location by the coast gives us access to some of the freshest ingredients and finest local producers in the UK, so it’s no surprise that the Pentire restaurant features an imaginative menu of delicious meals created fresh each day. Head chef Kevin Lang proudly presents a menu that delivers course after course of fine fare, inspired by seasonal ingredients and sourced in Cornwall where possible. If you like fish, give the famous Pentire Smokey a try. This starter packs a real flavour punch and is always a hit with guests

Enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the garden or on our south-facing sun terrace while watching the world go by. Join us for morning coffee or afternoon tea or choose from a range of bar snacks throughout the day. The bar offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with comfy seating, a selection of speciality bottled and draught beers and an extensive wine list. We like to keep it local where possible and offer a number of local beers and ciders, including draught Tribute and Rattler.
The Pentire’s unique vantage point means that many of our rooms come with panoramic views, of either the Atlantic Ocean and Fistral beach, or across the open countryside that lies to the south of Newquay. Our peaceful location and the fresh sea air provide the perfect combination for a good night’s sleep, leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to make the most of your stay in Cornwall. All bedrooms are en-suite and have LCD TVs, hairdryers and tea and coffee-making facilities. Our NEW WiFi upgrade reaches all areas of our hotel on every floor and is FREE to use.There is a small lift serving all floors, so no need to grapple with luggage on the stairs, but if you still need a hand a member of staff will be happy to help.

Our quiet pool is the perfect place for a few laps or a relaxing dip at any time of the day, while our new state-of-the-art steam room will ease your stresses as you sit back and enjoy the delicate scent of natural Eucalyptus, Lavender and Orange.
